Need some extra inspiration?

Check out a few Halloween party ideas:

  • Bone Hunters: The Great Skeleton Scramble: Turn your party into a graveyard adventure! Cut out skeleton parts from different colored construction paper and hide them around your party space. Divide guests into teams, each assigned a color. The goal? To be the first team to unearth and reassemble their complete skeleton. It's a race against time that will have your guests digging up fun and laughter! The first team to piece together their bony buddy wins a prize (and maybe a job offer from the local museum).

  • Twisted Fair Games: Set up carnival games in your backyard, but make them Halloween-style. Like "Knock Down the Skeleton" instead of milk bottles, or "Pin the Wart on the Witch" instead of pin the tail on the donkey. Serve corn dogs with ketchup "blood" or cotton candy called "spider webs".

  • Monster Dance Party and Freeze Game: Set up a spooky dance floor with Halloween decorations and colorful lights. Play fun, kid-friendly Halloween songs like "Ghostbusters" theme, "Purple People Eater," or "Skeleton Dance." Have kids dance like different monsters - zombie shuffles, werewolf howls, or vampire cape swishes. When the music stops, everyone has to freeze in their monster pose. The last one to freeze or the one with the funniest pose gets a small prize. For added fun, have a grown-up dressed as a silly monster be the "judge" who walks around checking the frozen poses. To make it even more engaging:

    • Use glow sticks or glow-in-the-dark face paint to make the dancers shine in the dark.

    • Have a "costume change" station with easy-to-add items like hats, masks, or capes so kids can switch up their monster look between songs.

    • End the party with a "Monster Mash" conga line where all the little monsters follow the leader around the house or yard.

Happy haunting, and may your Halloween party be the talk of the town! 🦇👻🎃
