What is a Template?

A template is like a blueprint for your event website. It has all the pages, content, and settings, but people can't RSVP or buy tickets for it. When you create an event using a template, it copies everything from the template:

• Pages and their content inclusing polls, signup lists, schedule, etc
• Event website styling
• Event and RSVP Forms configuration
• Checklists
• Budget setup
• Tickets configuration
• Notes
• Tally Counters
• And more...

Who Should Use Templates?

Templates are perfect if you:

• Run similar events regularly
• Host annual or seasonal events
• Want to keep your events consistent

For example, if you run a community center that hosts an annual fair, most of your event details stay the same each year. You might only need to change the date, description, and images. The preparation checklist, budget structure, and guest forms remain the same.

How to Find and Use Templates

1. Go to "My Events" and click "Templates" in the menu
2. You'll see two sections:
   • Public Templates: Free templates created by PartyLabz
   • My Templates: Templates you've created

Creating Your Own Template

1. Go to the Templates page
2. Click the "My Templates" button
3. Click "Create New Template" and enter its name

   

4. Click "Edit" on your new template

   

5. You'll see the familiar event editor with a "TEMPLATE" label at the top

   

When you're done editing, just close the browser tab. Your template saves automatically.
